Which System supply should you get? We recommend the Deluxe System with Deluxe Ultralight Receiver (RF-3006V) for any dog or cat that is 8 pounds or over. With five levels dog of programmable correction, this is our most versatile and advanced receiver. You can increase or decrease the correction to meet your pet''s training needs. At level five, the Deluxe Ultralight Receiver is strong enough for the most stubborn dog. The Deluxe Ultralight Receiver also has a low battery indicator light to let you know when to replace the battery. If your dog is 8 pounds or over and trains easily, you may want the Deluxe System with Ultralight Receiver (RF-3004V). The Ultralight has only one level of correction and does not have the low battery indicator light. Less than 1% of dogs need the Stubborn Dog Receiver. If your dog is over 30 pounds and is extremely stubborn or hard to train you may need the Deluxe System with Stubborn Dog Receiver (RF-3005V). The Stubborn Dog Receiver has only one level of correction that is approximately three times stronger than the Ultralight Receiver.

This is somewhat breed dependent, but most breeds should be 16-20 weeks of age. During training an owner observes their dog sitting in the correction zone. Once training a dog is trained to the system what is the best way to take the dog out of the boundary? Create what is called an "invisible gate" and take the dog out only through this gate. Once a dog is trained to the system how does the owner create the "invisible gate" concept? Place a long leash on the dog. Turn the system off. Remove the dog''s collar. Put the dog on the "sit" and "stay" command near the area that will become the "gate". Owner walks out of yard and asks dog to "come".
